The importance of movement in any environment

Movement: “Movement helps psychic development, that development expresses itself in its turn by further movement and action.” Maria Montessori

Intention: "We don't just make movements simply to move, each movement has its purpose, it always has some intention." Maria Montessori

Effort: "The first movement of the tiny hand towards things, the first impulse of that movement which represents the effort of the self to penetrate the world.” Maria Montessori

Workshop leaders team: Anna Yebra & Marta Gallardo

To whom is it adressed: This workshop is designed for parents to come alone, without their children, so that they can make the most of the session.

  • How to make the most of family afternoons?
  • We jointly plan a model schedule that enhances their autonomy and ensures both physical and emotional well-being.
  • What tasks can my child do at home?
  • Do I always have to play with my child?

Movement is an essential factor in the construction of intelligence and provides the child with contact with the environment. In this way, the child at this stage learns through their senses and understands the world around them. This workshop aims to provide guidelines for encouraging movement, both at home and when out and about, and the importance of a good choice of extracurricular activities.

Childcare service: childcare service is offered to those families who already come to the school. The schedule will be from 5pm to 6:30pm upon registration.
