Family area

Within the family area, the School operates along three lines of activity:

Conferences and lectures

The Psychology and Counselling Service collaborates with the Department of Training and Innovation to select those topics and lecturers that can enrich the educational efforts of the school. Similarly, the professional team presents papers at external conferences.

Parents’ workshops

The Psychology and Counselling Team contributes to and supervises the workshops for parents organised for Infant, Primary and Secondary education and also carries out more specific workshops on subjects relating to educational psychology.

Family counselling

Counselling for families is aimed at leading and guiding parents when they express difficulties in implementing the recommendations received in the tutoring interviews, parents' meetings or training conferences. The guidelines for action are reviewed and parents are guided until the recommendations have been imparted to their children in a robust and sure manner.
