International Projects
In addition to the alliances that the school has with different educational institutions (schools, associations, congresses, etc.), where it presents papers and shares educational trends, the school promotes different educational experiences abroad for students, such as the European Youth Parliament (EYP), the Montessori Model of United Nations (MMUN) or the 4th-year of ESO Exchange Program, which serve as a complement to their curriculum.
Montessori Palau Girona has established partnerships with educational and research institutions all over the world, making it a reference point internationally.
The students participate in numerous international projects that allow them to learn about different working methodologies, while they use foreign languages as a vehicle, such as: The Montessori Model United Nations, exchange programmes with Finland, or the participation and organisation of numerous European Youth Parliament meetings.
The school regularly participates in international congresses and courses with presentations on different innovative pedagogical topics. It also hosts teachers and directors from schools and universities in countries such as the United States, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Japan, Germany and France, among others. Likewise, it visits prestigious international institutions to observe how they work and complement the investigation and research carried out at the centre itself.
International teacher training is one of the pillars of the internationalisation policy and a measurement indicator within the Montessori Palau Girona’s Quality System.
