Harvard Model Congress Europe (HMCE)

The Harvard Model Congress Europe (HMCE) is an independent educational programme for students from all over the world. It was created in 1986 at Harvard University and is linked to the Harvard Model United Nations, which consists of a four-day simulation of international relations for high school students and is held annually in various locations around the world (USA, China and India).

At HMCE, delegates learn how the United Nations works and the dynamics of international relations. This is achieved by assuming roles as representatives of the United Nations and other international organisations. The HMCE represents an exciting opportunity for students to debate issues facing world leaders and to draft resolutions to respond to these global pressing issues. Participants will develop the ability to work with others who are as concerned as they are and will be mentored by experts from Harvard University, Boston.
