The child and the people who guide them

“Children create bonds with their parents. As they grow older, they will be more willing to experience new situations, explore their surroundings, make friends, and meet new people. It is likely that intimate relationships will form in adulthood.” Encyclopaedia on Early Childhood.

"We need to help the children free themselves of their flaws without making them notice their weaknesses." Maria Montessori

When a child is born, the mother’s time is taken up with the baby and the father can feel displaced. This is why it is important for him to know that his role is to maintain the emotional structure of the family and that the bond that the child establishes with the father and mother separately is unique and non-transferable. In addition, the relationship between mother and father is the basis that will allow a good emotional development of the child. This will result in a healthy family unit and in this way the child will feel protected and have a clear sense of their own identity which will allow them to have a solid foundation in order to boost their self-esteem.
