• What does learning a new language mean?

• What conscious and unconscious processes are involved in this acquisition?

• What strategies can be used to help learn these languages naturally and effectively?

After a brief introduction, we will discuss the benefits of a bilingual brain and the processes involved in learning. You will also have the opportunity to learn about some of the strategies used in our Year 1 to Year 3 and Year 4 to Year 6 classrooms. Similarly, with your active participation, we will be able to understand that language is an extension of your education and that it should be natural and effective, both at school and at home. During the workshop we’ll give you natural and effective learning strategies that can be used to further enhance the English language at home, as well as book recommendations and reading strategies. This workshop will be conducted in English.
