We are pleased to invite you to the official presentation of the 6th International Seminar on Neuroscience and Education, which will feature a preview of the lecture ‘How does our children's brain work and develop?’ by Prof. Dr. Gustavo Deco.

Gustavo Deco is an ICREA Research Professor, a highly prestigious distinction, and a professor at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), where he leads the Computational Neuroscience group. He holds doctorates in Physics, Computer Science, and Psychology, with a track record of excellence in Germany and France. He is considered one of the most prominent international neuroscientists and has been awarded the prestigious ERC Advanced Grant and ERC Synergy Grant from the European Union, recognitions reserved for the world's scientific elite.

Deco recently co-published, together with Morten L. Kringelback of the University of Oxford, the study ‘Whole-brain modelling. Cartography of the Dynamics of Mind’ (2025).
