Instrument practice

There are two options for learning an instrument at the club, the regulated plan and the unregulated plan.

The regulated plan requires the student to take a course in musical language as well as learning the instrument. The programmes are based on the official regulations set out by the current Law on Teaching, revised and extended by the teachers at the Club This option includes examinations before a committee in order to move on to the next course. This option is designed for children from the age of six. The lessons are on a one-to-one basis.

The unregulated plan still includes musical language but doesn’t follow the programmes based on the official regulations set out in the Law on Teaching. This option is designed for children from age eleven. Lessons are on a one-to-one basis and either last one hour or an hour and a half.
